About
*The Goal-Focused Coaching (GFC) 101 training course is the first of four required 30-hour courses in the CCE approved GFC 120-hour training program. The course achieves core competencies for Board Certified Coach (BCC) training by emphasizing (1) coaching knowledge and application, (2) ethics and regulatory guidelines, (3) practice management, and (4) assessments needed for professional coaches working from a Goal-Focused (GF) perspective with individuals, businesses and organizations. The course is online, on-demand. Students work at their own pace. The minimum time commitment is 30 hours. On average, students complete the course within 3 to 6 weeks and rarely exceed 3 months unless extenuating circumstances prevent participation. Learning occurs through assigned reading from texts and other materials, videos, discussion forums, practice activities, personal reflection and a multiple-choice exam with a required passing score of 70%. Students must have regular internet access to complete this course. The required texts for the GFC 101 course are sold by Amazon and other retailers: Stoltzfus, T. (2008).
